Rusk council to convene for workshop, separate budget hearing

RUSK – Members of the local city council will convene at noon Friday, Sept. 18, for a budget workshop, also discussing the city’s Hotel Occupancy Tax, during a meeting at the Rusk Council Chambers, 116 E. 5th St. on the city’s downtown square.

Then, on Sept. 21, they will gather in Council Chambers for a 6 p.m. special meeting to consider adopting the 2026-27 Fiscal Year budget.
