Cherokee County Constable passes away

A longtime East Texas constable passed away Tuesday evening. 
Cherokee County Pct. 3 Constable Eddie Lee passed away after serving the community in the role for roughly 20 years, Cherokee County Judge Chris Davis confirmed. Davis reported Lee was working as usual Tuesday, patrolling county streets and roads before his passing.
Lee's cause of death has not been released.
