New US 69 traffic pattern

According to City of Bullard officials, TxDOT is reporting a new traffic pattern that will go into effect this week “As part of the ongoing US Highway 69 and FM 2493 improvement project, a traffic switch is scheduled to occur the week of March 9, weather permitting. Traffic will shift to the newly constructed, realigned section of FM 2493 at US 69 in Bullard. Once the switch is in place, the existing portion of FM 2493 (South Houston St), south of CR 3801, will be closed to through traffic. Motorists should use caution in the area and anticipate possible delays as crews continue work in the area.” Electronic signs posted in that area state that the switch will take place March 11.
