RUSK, Texas — A Cherokee County constable has been found not guilty of hitting another man with a vehicle in 2021.
Cherokee County Pct. 4 Constable James "Jamie" Quinten Beene faced an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge in connection with a 2021 incident.
Beene has been Pct. 4 constable since 2009.
