Alto Police Department has been collecting all sorts of gifts for youths within Alto ISD, with toys and bikes part of a prize drawing that is part of a 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, holiday event at Alto Fire Department, 384 W. San Antonio St. According to Police Chief Joe Houghton, organizers dishing up pizza and beverages as Santa visits with attendees. “It’s our way of gving back to our community,” he said.
