William Keith Wilder went to Glory peacefully at his home on Friday, April 11th, 2025. He was born October 31st, 1942 to William Briscoe Wilder and JoAnn England Wilder.
William met in 1992 and married his soulmate, Linda, on March 11th, 1994. They spent 31 wonderful years working side by side in his Law Practice and in Ministry for the Lord.
William is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; his daughter and son-in law, Gwyneth and Isaac Belota; his step-son and wife, John and Erin Ray; his two grandsons, Colt and Cain; his sister Llewanne Wilder Romney; his brother-in-law and his wife Nathan and Jackie Spiritas; his beloved "Adopted Family" Kenny and Rhonda Birdwell; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nephews.
William poured his heart into Ministry and into 54-year Law Practice. Whether he was counseling, defending, offering wisdom,or· feeding those in need, no cause or effort was ever too small. William's life can best be summed up as Ministry for the Lord, Love of family and friends, and the Law.
He had friends from his Harlingen School days, University of Texas, and Trinity University days spanning some 70 years, plus.
William was a generous man of love, honor, and integrity. When asked what he wanted people to remember, he said, "I lived my life for the Lord, my family, and my clients".
William Keith Wilder will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life was held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Rusk with Rev. Billy Don Garner officiating.
